Textual Analysis.

The title of the magazine is in a sans serif font, and in capitals, attracting the readers attention. Also the use of the colour yellow makes it stand out and become noticeable. There is a double, close up shot without a direct mode of address which goes against the magazine convention of having a mid-shot with direct mode of address. This could make the magazine appear edgy and unique. There colour scheme of the magazine is yellow, red and blue. This follows the convention of magazines using a 3 part colour scheme. The speech bubbles on the cover make it appear more friendly and chatty, therefore appealing to a wider audience because it looks less serious. The magazine uses a mixture of capitals and lower case text. The key pieces of information are in capitals and additional points are made in lower case letters. There is use of punctuation, which magazines usually miss out, commas were used which are not seen very often on front pages. Along with punctuation like full stops and colons.
